Programme 2: an evening shared with the CCN / Ballet de l'Opéra national du Rhin on April 2-3, 2020

After a first encounter in Mulhouse last season, the two CCNs – Ballets of the Region will now again be meeting on the Opera stage, each presenting a piece from their respective seasons, using more than fifty dancers, in an exceptional evening of dance. The CCN / Ballet de l’Opéra national du Rhin invites you to discover the new creation by Gil Harush, a young Israeli choreographer, who was inspired by the life and work of Virginia Woolf, a pioneering feminist whose genius, courage and poetic universe he celebrates. And the CCN - Ballet de Lorraine, will present a revival of Miguel Gutierrez’ Cela nous concerne tous (This concerns all of us), a standout work in the program called 1968-2018, a work inspired by the extraordinary energy prevailing in France during the many demonstrations held in May 68. A powerful call, inviting us to go beyond our individualism, choosing the group in order to share new elements of utopia in the rush of the collective experience.
